New Office Build Out

We love working with new business!  Our philosophy for new business is to build the right level of technology for where you are today, and where you will be in the future, without overbuilding.  Getting started on the right foot is essential. We have project plans and checklists that insure your are thinking of all the details.

Workstation Refresh

We can assist you in rolling out workstations and laptops to your users and insure that the migration goes smoothly. It can be a challenge to procure the right hardware, and guarantee that your applications will work with the new equipment.

How long should a computer last?  This can only be answered by looking at what you want that computer to do. Are you still running software that was designed at the time you bought the machine, or are you looking to run the latest and greatest? Have you been upgrading your applications steadily over the years and now everything is sluggish?

Software Upgrades

A software upgrade project should always start with examining how you are licensing the software. There are numerous ways to license software; it can be rolled into your hardware refresh to reduce the cost, software can be purchased in a subscription model, or you could choose option volume licensing. Let us help you find the most efficient and economical for you to license your software. We’ll then assist in deploying the software and if necessary training your users.

Office Moves

Consider that moving an office requires that all of your telecommuncations (internet and phone services) must be cutover and brought up in order for you business to be back up and running quickly. Use the experience of our project managers to insure from the get go that the new space you are moving to has all of the attributes that you will need to house your existing technology. We can act as an advocate and advisor during your visits to the new space and make sure you are considering all of the critical details.

Once a space is chosen, we’ll work with you closely to insure that the move goes smoothly and that you will be back up and running in the new space.

Internet Cutover

Transitioning from one internet service provider to another can have huge ramifications on your business. Our technicians can insure that the cutover will happen with the least impact on your business possible.

First Server and New Server Rollouts

If you have more than 5 machines and you’ve struggled with such issues as: difficulty keeping passwords and usernames in sync, disorganization in managing your files and folders so that all users can access them, and no remote access to your network you may be ready for your first server. We are certified Microsoft Small Business Specialists and can design and deploy small to large scale server implementations.

Telecommunications Cutover

If you’ve been approached by any number of telecommunications companies (Qwest, Integra, Comcast, etc.) and have been sold on the idea of cutting over to their internet service or telephone lines, we can assist you in assuring this cutover goes smoothly.  Most of these companies end their responsbility at the point where they can plug in their technicians laptop and show that there is internet access without considering the impact that this change has on your internal systems and how these systems are related to the outside world of vendors, customers, and remote workers. Before signing an agreement, engage us to audit to existing infrastructure so you know with confidence what will happen when the cutover happens.
Disaster Recovery Planning
Disaster recovery and business continuance planning is more than just “I know it’s getting backed up.”  It is a hollistic approach to understanding what data and services are required to run your business, a process of determining how long you can go without these services and at what cost, and developping a plan protects this data and services. Disaster Recovery is truely about recovery; how quickly do you need to be back up if you lose all of your data and systems. Once in a place, the plan needs to be occasionally tested and evaluated to insure it still meets your needs and that your recovery is still viable. From the single user to large organizations, we can help you to answer these questions and find a plan that meets you goals and budget.
